The Hudson Valley Youth Chorale will be performing the National Anthem and God Bless America to honor PFC Doug Cordo who died in Afghanistan, and to kick off the Shamrock Run.

The race is on March 11, 2012, and starts at 12:50 p.m. at the Academy Green in Kingston, NY.

Small groups of ten singers or less are invited to carol at Bevier House. Groups will rotate every half-hour throughout the house and event.

Hudson Valley Youth Chorale November 2011 newsletter

The bookfair runs from December 3-9 at the Barnes & Noble on Ulster Avenue in Kingston

We have a gift wrapping table (The Singing Ambassadors have signed up to work it for us!) from 10 – 2pm

Our Concert is at 1pm.  All Singers, Cantabile and Ambassadors, please arrive by 12:30pm wearing your casual costume: white HVYC T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and white sneakers.

Give vouchers to your friends and family and encourage them to shop at Barnes & Noble between Dec. 3 – 9 to support Youth Chorale!

For our first general fundraiser of the year, we are selling Eco-Scents Candles.  They are made locally from soy products, and are hand-poured to order.  Please sell to family, friends and co-workers, as this is a major fundraiser that goes directly toward our program.  We get to keep 50% of the money earned, which is $5 per candle!  All money earned goes directly back to the singers in the form of new music, props, costumes and artists for concerts.  Please sell, sell, sell and return your order form with the money by October 25th.  Our order will be in by the winter concert (December 10, 2011), so these candles will make great gifts for the holidays.

We will be selling a special selection of 13 winter-themed scents.  The price will be $10 for each 9 ounce jar.  For more information about the 100% soy candles, visit the Eco-Scents website.
